"I see.  So, you are going to stand in a temple to the Goddess, look one of her Priestesses in the eye disrespectively, and then openly flout your heresy or lack of faith?  Does this childish posturing have a purpose?  I have little time for games; if there is something you are after, say so.  If this is not simple posturing, if you truly mean to disrespect me in the temple of my Goddess, then cast a spell, draw a weapon or make a move.  Either way, your little show of independance and definace is keeping me from my duty.  So, which is it?  Are you here to follow me or to fight me?"

[Sheiriya]

"To follow you of course, malla Yathrin. And I would say you just proved that you are worth it." Sheiriya replies with a slight bow. "Now the question is: Am I still in or is that not possible to you any longer?"

[Draezen]

Teleported to the inn.

[Mikayla]

Kylara'anon regards the beautiful Sheiriya for a moment, then speaks.  "If you mean to follow me, then your services and presence are welcome.  I imagine there are many doors your beauty can open that sword and spell cannot.  That is an asset I would dearly like to have in my arsenal."  She looks to Zhadristan.  "And you male?  What say you?"

[Phaerven]

"I humbly propose to extend the previous agreement, a fair share of aquired valuables should there be any and a reasonable payment upon success of the mission", Zhadristan answers.

[Mikayla]

Kylara'anon smiles wryly.  "So wealth is your religion and coin your goddess?  So very like a surfacer, from what I have heard.  So be it.  If that is what you value, then that is what your reward shall be.  Come, let us find the others who will travel with us."  Kylara'anon turns and struts out of the temple headed towards the inn.

[Phaerven]

Zhadristan does not seem to feel offended being compared to a surface dweller.
As Kylara'anon turns her back on them, he signs to Sheiriya, Could have went worse.

He will follow Kylara'anon at a few paces distance.

[Sheiriya]

Yes it could, but it didn't. Sheirirya answeres in Zhadistan's mind. Let's see if the others will be pious lolthites or if our yathrin will have to deal with a group of unbelievers.

[Phaerven]

I hope for the latter, Zhadristan answers in his mind, or else it would make us the most expandable.

[Sheiriya]

We'll see. But I'm sure you know a trick or two to prevent that, too. Zhadristan can hear her voice in his mind again and she gives him a brief smile of razor sharp teeth before she follows the yathrin.

[Mikayla]

Kylara'anon leads the other two to the inn, where upon she surveys the interior and its patrons.

One of the servants draws nearer, bows deeply and points towards the backroom Tavia and the others went into.

"The wishes of the Dalharilen were fullfilled. Your subordinates await you over in that lounge."

[Mikayla]

Kylara'anon arches an eyebrow at the servants words.  She does not respond, but instead walks to lounge the servant indicated.  As she enters, she surveys those assembled carefully and warily.  After a moment, she speaks.

"I am Kylara'anon of the Dalharilen.  I will be the leader of this expedition.  I would like to have a name by which I can call each of you, and I would like to know your skills so that I know how best to employ you.  Also, if there is anything else I should know, now is the time to speak.  Once we are in the underdark wilds, our opportunities to converse will grow...short."  She looks around the chamber.  "Who shall begin?"

[Fabius Maximus]

When the woman enters, Farviaan detaches himself from the wall, where he leaned and waited in sullen silence. "Finally", he growls under his breath.

Keeping a barely respectful distance he looks down to the drow and says: "Farviaan Dem's the name, but Farviaan will suffice." The name rolls strangely from his tongue.
"You want a body put in the dead-book? For the right price, I will take him down. Or her." He lays one hand on the hilt of his blade. "If you need me for a fight, I am capable to do this, too. I work best when I can engage an enemies leader, preferably from behind." He half turns to the others with a vicious grin on his lips and declares: "They can have the scraps."

"If you are half as good as your promises, I'll be positively surprised." a voice says laughing and the spider statue steps towards the yathrin. "Xyranma is my name. I would be able to support you in a melee fight, too, but I could help you in different circumstances."
