The scout looks at the approaching chain and raises an eyebrow. "We could attach a few tiny bells to it, so even the deaf ones will hear it coming ..."
She turns about and motions to you to follow her out of the tower. Soon after passing the gates you enter the Underdark, the derro apparebtly did not work their tunnels that far into this particular part of their former home's environment. What starts a broad and wide tunnel becomes rather narrow, only 15 feet seperate the opposing walls. The ceiling appears to be cleared of stalagtites for about a mile, most likely for larger beasts of burden. As Tavia said, you leave this main road through Har'oloth after about half a day's walk, no creature shows itself nor can be heard. After checking a few smaller tunnels, Tavia leads you into a narrow and quite flat one, at times you have to crawl an all fours to get ahead. A steep descent through a narrow and quite wet shaft follows before the scout gathers you all in a small chamber littered with hundreds of foot-long stalagtites and stalagmites. "We will rest here and make our way to the Traquillian trade route afterwards. We have to move over a large chasm and the bridge that crosses it. Usually some sort of trading post, but one never knows. Maybe you take that into mind before memorizing your spells and all?!"
