This strange, tube-like tunnel keeps going for about 100 feet before turning left and upwards. The stone walls have clearly been blasted into this form and anyone who has seen disintegration magic at work knows what he or she is looking at. Not that either of you has seen this use of such kind of magic beforehand. The tunnel leads upwards and now you also note pieces of clothing and the odd drop of dried blood on the ground. Someone or something was obviously dragged to this point, maybe lifted a bit later, as down the corridor this dragging tracks are missing. Slowly you approach a room at the end of the way. No sound issues forth from there, a place lit by about a dozen torches, you would guess. Silently the scouts advance, scanning the place and wave you in. A domed chapel sort of cave presents itself to your eyes. It spans about 200 feet in diameter, dominated by six large pillars. The latter point inward towards the top, even meeting just below the ceiling, some 100 feet above you. The whole cave seems to be carved out of the stone much like the tunnel was, a display of such magic of almost unthinkable proportions. The walls are littered with glittering gems, lines of various ore, even gold, you suspect. It all looks more like a surface night sky than a cavern of the underdark, not least due to the light cast by the dozen magical lights. You also virtually feel the presence of faerzress running through this place, certainly some sort of conduit or focal point for the radiation. Right in the middle of the pillars, on top of a circular obsidian dais, the shattered remnants of another pillar can be seen. It probably was about 20 feet tall, but looks to have burst from within, rather than being destroyed from the outside. As you take in the scene, Naedragard begins humming and singing another song of hers ...
I see the bad moon arising.
I see trouble on the way.
I see earthquakes and lightning.
I see bad times today.
Don't go around tonight,
Well, its bound to take your life,
There's a bad moon on the rise. ...
