Tavia leaves the room and the inn via a backdoor, no need to show the other gold-hungry folk how many mercenaries the yathrin has assambled. She leads you back into the temple district, bypassing about a dozen of shrines and temples of various sizes. You cross one wide promenade, lined with statues of drow females and spiders, leading up to what will most likely be the first House of Sschindylryn. Dozen upon dozen of drow line this street, though you do not spot that many members of other races hereabouts. Patrols of well armed warriors look on, some take note of your band, but do not act in any way. Soon after you enter the compound of another temple, its gates a finely crafted arrangement of obsidian spiders of various sizes. After handing a parchment to the guard, Tavia waves you on and you follow her into a building to the left of the actual temple. Another pair of guards stands watch over an adamantine gate, but Tavia's parchment does the trick once again. The gates opens to a stair that vanishes steeply into the grounds below the temple, no illumination whatsoever can be seen. You do note a number of arcane symbols lining the walls either side of the stairs though, some so powerful that even walking by them make you hairs stand up. The scout shoulders her equipment again and descents into the darkness unconcerned.
