Well, Szordrin, I'll leave the Easter stuff for Phaerven to describe (now wait, he might be the Austrian amongst us - always mix this up) ... well, maybe I offer Fabius some extra XP for that then
.
As for the ring, how much is it now? Haven't got the MIC as yet, the next two books flying in are FC II & the Demonweb adventure.
BTW, Easter and all, I myself come from an atheist background ... well, atheist in terms of monotheistic religions that is. We have some festivities over here, mainly the Christian stuff (Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Easter Monday), though even the materialists / humanists / et al amongst us enjoy the rare off-days we get and thus we don't shy away from some celebrating it
. Not going to church and all that, obviously.
Religious-wise, it was interesting to read that the name itself seems to be taken from a number of pre-Christian deities (and females at that), namely the Greek Eos (Roman Aurora; both meaning
aurora/
dawn) and its Germanic equivalent (though her existence has not been proved 100%) Ostara / Eostre (Goddess of Fertility and Dawn).
