It is us who await your orders, malla jabbress, Narzen signals.

But, my opinion is to loot the corpses now. If there is trouble further in the chasm, we may not get a chance to stop here again on our way back.

"Yes, you do heed my orders, but a wise leader does listen occasionally to those they employ" signs Keth as she looks at the Stalagmite.

The female at the stalagmite is quite dead, probably as long as the other former members of Talice's group. She looks somewhat like the human in that kitchen room, wearing rather light clothes for someone delving into ancient dungeons. A wand-like item right beneath her ´will tell you why she did not wear more armor. Her vest and robe are useless since they sport a more than fist-sized hole, if the dead is removed from the stone pillar. This could proof to be difficult, as the body is suspended on the stalagmite some 6 feet above ground, the bloody tip of the stone standing at about 8 feet. All her clothes look in decent condition and Nata'al signals that the boots, her bracers, that wand and something at her belt appear to be magical. That something will reveal itself as magical scrolls.
To the west the drow have to circle around some massive stone pillars and stalagmites. Almost at the far end of that chasm you are confronted by the hulk of a giant scorpion, looming over another skeleton. The latter is clad in studded leather armor and an iron helmed. A shattered wooden pendant - apparently some holy symbol - hangs from its neck, while a smashed lantern lies near its left hand. Its backpack contains some rotten food and a number of smashed glass flasks, a warhammer lies some feet off the skeleton's right hand. Almost buried by the bones and the red robe beneath it you spot a mace's haft, the weapon covered in a wrapped sheath. Just around the next stalagmite you discover another dead human, who is again about two months past his last breath. This one wears plate mail, a shield, and a broadsword. It is not apparent what killed this poor soul though.

Then let us quickly gather their magical possessions. I doubt that except for the scrolls there is anything of greater value to us than coins to be found from these, Zhadristan says, expressing his disrespect of the deads' competence.

Not easy to climb, the male observes while standing by the impaled woman. We could of course simply cut her body in half from here. Unless you wish to use your power of levitation, mistress. Zhadristan offers a slight bow and waits.

Keth starts to float upwards along the Stalagmite to the woman, grabbing her by the arms, and going straight up to pull/wrench the body up the Stalagmite until clear, then will toss the body to the side to land on the ground, and will lower herself back to the ground.

Well, it is a somewhat strange sight, that woman with a hole in her torso spanning almost half a feet. Despite the noise of the falling body, nothing seems to disrupt the silence in the chasm so far.

"I would look east."

Keth lowers herself down to where she has footing on the Stalagmite to be able to change facing quickly enough to react to things and looks to the East, reaching for her scourge.

While the others have their views blocked by stalagmites and pillars, Talice and Keth spot something or someone closing in on the group. The creature partly walks on the ground as well as on the rocky surface of the pillars around it.

"Keep watch!" Talice hisses to Nata'al while drawing her bowstring.

Narzen's crossbow makes a humming sound again as he loads it and readies himself to take aim at whatever is approaching.

Jhalashar backs up towards the rear of the group and begins strumming his lute, playing a song meant to inspire courage in all who hear except the lurking monster.

As soon as the faerie fire alights the "thing" Geirildin rushes towards the thing in a charge, leaping high into the air at the very end and bringing his courtblade down in an overhead chop.

Iira turns towards the east after seeing others do so. With one fluid movement he detaches his spiked chain from his side and holds it ready for use. A soft bass-pitched hum can be heard emitting from him for a few seconds.

Talice's bowstring hums and the arrow plunges deeply into the creature, drawing an angry hiss from it. It moves forward towards the group, simply plugging the arrow out of the wound without any apparent effect. The female, making sure that everyone is aware of it, says "Must be something undead ... watch out!"
Iira's spiked chain flashes and also hits the humanoid looking thing squarely on the chest, drawing a small open line of dark blood.
