 Draezen throws back his cloak's folds and explodes into motion. Within two blinks of a drow eye Draezen intersects himself between the fleeing drow female the troll-like creature and goes into a whirlwind of movement that appears as a blur to the untrained eye. From the whirlwind lightning fast fists and feet flash at the troll in a chaotic dance that seems erratic and confusing.
The only image that seems clear is the bright white smile that can be clearly seen from beneath the dark confines of his piwafwi's hood.

[Phaerven]

 With noticeably less fervor than Draezen, Zhadristan draws his sabre and activates its magic while he moves out to circle the troll.

[Korach]

 "As you wish." Rou'sun says and casts a spell. The gesture he uses are quite unusual and you cannot tell what spell it will be.

 Keth will ready her shield and scourge, slowly advancing towards the troll.

[Narzen]

 Narzen loads and charges up a bolt for his crossbow.

"What of the woman, malla jabbress?" he asks, while taking aim at the troll.

 "Save her if we can, she should have information, otherwise let the Goddess decide her fate." says Keth

 Keeping herself between the strangers and Keth, Malifice moves to intercept the fleeing woman and ensure she does not run past them.

[Zanan]

 Within the blink of an eye, Talice lets an arrow fly at the troll and her aim is true enough. Half an instant later, a second arrow plants itself into the beasts chest, this time coming from Nata'al. Narzen and Zhadristan moving closer to the enemy, the former sends a crackling bolt into the troll's left thigh. Zhadristan, on the other hand, goes straight for the monster, but his first attack does not penetrate the troll's hide. Iira and Zouhlnor take up a position just ahead of  Malifice, to make sure that the charging troll meets more resistance. Iira loads some sort of energy into his chain, while his brother simply waits, axe in hand. The troll, somewhat baffled by the sudden appearance of fresh meat, still has its senses together and lashes at the fleeing drow. The female's cry is stopped as the heavy blow pushes all the air out of her lungs. She skids to a halt right before the feet of the brothers, unmoving. Zhadristan take the opportunity and strike at the beast again, but fails to cut into its hide deep enough to wound it. With incredible speed and agility, Draezen appears right in front of the troll, who looks somewhat irritated and growl angrily. Just as the drow lashes out with a lightning fast fist, a bolt consisting of shadowy, darkish red flames strikes strikes the troll's chest. The monster stumbles a few feet back, out of reach of Draezen's reach. It lashes at the flames, then glowers at the drow. Zhadristan appears behind its back.

 Without pausing Rou'sun casts a second spell.

 Malifice moves quickly to the fallen female and tries to drag her away from the troll.

 Keth will move her scourge to her shield hand, drawing her wand to heal the fallen female.

[Phaerven]

 Zhadristan continues his melee attacks against the troll.

[Zanan]

 While Kethryllia heals the worst wounds of the fallen female, the male warriors swarm about the troll and flank it on all sides. Zhadristan stabs it in the back and the sudden jerk of the wounded beast takes it out of the way of Draezen's first blow. Just an instant later, the drow hits the troll with a vicious blow, causing it to grunt in pain. Iira lashes at the beast with his chain, creating a fine red line across its chest, while his brother scores a nasty cut with his axe. Moving a bit erratically, the troll inadvertently escapes Narzen's crackling bolt. Another couple of arrows struck the troll's shoulders, as the two female archers have to shoot over their comrades' heads. Lashing about wildly, the beast succeeds in hitting Zouhlnor (21 HPs) and Zhadristan (19 HPs), while it misses Draezen by some distance. Another ball of purple black flames speeds towards the monster, vanishes into the still gaping maw and explode inside the troll's head in a blast of fire, blood and gore. The headless corpse remains on its feet for a few moments before it falls over and lies still. A cheeky grin appears on Rou'sun's face ... but fades as three bugbears storm into the cave, shields and swords up. Oblivious to the slain troll, they charge up to the nearest drow, Zhadristan, Zouhlnor, and Iira.

"Welcome to Maerimydra!" Nata'al grumbles while reaching for another arrow.
