"Hail the name of Beginning-End[1], for as she is the beginning an she is the end. It was her who held her kin before she created the earth and the sky and the sea of the very earthly garden happiness. Also she created the plants that the children could nourish theirselves and the animals that could accompany her children. Then she sent them to garden happiness and said: "I created the garden for you that it will sustain and please my beloved children as they need. You're allowed to do anything but to go to the borders[2] of the garden. Now I'm exhausted and want to rest. But you'll never be alone as in my dreams I whisper to you."
Thereafter, Beginning-End's children spent many days of fulfillment. But occasionally, they didn't obey their mother's demand and went to the borders[3] of garden happiness. There they saw the land of outside the garden and it was dark, wasted and perilous. In this moment, their ears became deaf for the whispers of Beginning-End. And they got frightened and agitated and felt that their lives weren't secure if the garden vanished. And so they they collected more seeds than they could consume and took more wood than they burned and they ponded the waters and they dug[4] the earth for (edible) roots. And they populated unrestricted and they created their own kins and mistrusted each other. And they assaulted on each other and spoiled the garden.
As woe was most severe, "Beginning-End" awakened from her sleep. And as she saw, what they made of the garden, she was dolorous and angered. And she spoke, "I've done everything for you and you frustrated my doings and so you suffer. You don't trust in my deeds and so you must learn to trust in your own before we can unify again. But still I love you and I will bestead you in this forthcoming quest."
And Beginning-End shed tears for many days and the barren land turned fruitful, although not as fruitful as garden happiness was. Then she went to rest, again."

I spend warmth and comfort and assurance. I promise death and rebirth. I am recurrence and the end. I unite the being and the nonbeing.
Listen to my word. I love you and as the highest of all I will be to your service. Though I know your needs and their fulfillments, I grant you freedom, because you yearn for insight. What you severed you shall assemble again. But I will always be near. I will hear your wailing, your questions and your doubts.
When everything is unified again, the chain of recurrence is broken and you cease your earthen being. Approve my words, sink yourself in me and you will go home. Finally you will be redeemed of all suffering. Trust in me."

"As the years passed, the offspring of BeginningEnd spread across Cocytos and the nearby islands and gathered themselves in tribes. In the very west there was the tribe of the Enlightened. They loved to seek the starry sky and tried to read the future. In the northwest, the artisans made their home. They loved the fine arts and collected stories and were also gifted orators. In the northeast the carpenter located themselves. They buried the mountain in search of precious metals and were the most talented in crafting tools and architecture. In the east there was the tribe of the Blunts, who were the most insulated of the tribes and were said to have withdrawed the most far from BeginningEnd. The tribe that settled Cocytos named theirself the Prefered and was the strongest of all.""This reminds one of the Israelite tribes[6], which are mentioned in the bible. In the Holy Book are twelve, here we have five. When we take a look at the map", Peter stand auf und legte die Karte so hin, dass jeder gut sehen konnte, "you will come to the conclusion that this temple is the center, because if the map is oriented, you can put the different tribes onto the islands and the 'Prefered' stayed here. This means, we are on Cocytos. Cocytos could be the same as Israel was in some bible texts, only on a smaller scale. I would guess, that we will find different shades of culture on every island. Maybe the collected knowledge will help us to enter the temple or to understand it. The Enlightened were the possibly clerics or priests, or philosophical idealists like Thales of Miletus[7], and so on. You can find an equivalent for every tribe."
Time passed and the tribes grew strong and numerous. But also tensions set up and the tribes struggled with each other. Within the tribes they betrayed each other and eventually murdered the ones who achieved more than others. Many commited Sacrileges against BeginningEnd and worshiped to false gods."I think, it is not necessary to explain this part. A story of the golden calf[8] and the Ten Commandments[9]. Nonetheless, we have achieved hierarchical and organizational information, due to the position of elders."
Finally, BeginningEnd woke up and as she saw what they were doing, she was frustrated. She invaded the dreams of the elder. After a week of nightmares she spoke to them: "You experienced my enragement. I created you good but stolidity and envy made you to get used to foul habits." And she gave them commandments and a voice that couldn't be overheared. These where the nine commandments:
The first and most importened commandment is that no one shall betray. Every other commandment follows from this.
You shall not worhsip to other gods than BeginningEnd, because you betray your goddess by the glory and approval of her beloving favour.
You shall not forget your ancestors, because you betray yourself by the experience you gathered.
You shall honour your elders, because you the are the most wise and ressourceful and you betray your tribe by not obeying to them.
You shall not murder, because you betray your next by the experience he could have collected.
You shall not make pictures of each other nor of your goddess, because pictures betray at the beauty of the moment.
You shall not envy your next, because you betray your own talent.
You shall not lie, because you betray others of the truth.
You shall not be unreliable in every thing you do, because you betray others trusts.
These were the commandments of BeginngingEnd. Also she gave the elders the power to punish as they saw it inevitable. But also she promissed a time when punisment weren't needed anymore."

Dear little Water
The stones of life are promising power, latitude, immortality. But they will cost one that is greater than any free man can imagine and that is heavier than any man can bear. No soul that has ever stretched out for them has escaped the torment of its immanent burden.
As long as I've watched the current events, I come to think of it as some kind of insubstantial prison - rather than deliverance. Modern life is weary and full of fear - and, over all, senseless. It is the the point that if you can live long enough to accomplish everything, nothing is meaningful anymore. If I can do it in remote future, why should I do it now? Or the other way, If I'm able to start anything, for what should I decide? What is the right thing to do? I also observed, that the psyche is not able to endure the recurence of the very same.
Psyche is not ment to taste eternity. Eternity dissolves psyche.
Modernity hasn't brought us salvation but despair. We entered a realm that is researved for the goddess. Now we suffer consequences. So, we need to do one step back to the believes of our ancestores. BeginningEnd promises redemption. No, we cannot do one step back, we need to completly start over. I know your skills and that you are working for a solution.
Tell me, when to start.
Seeress
Dear Seheress,
I'm glad that they introduced us to each other. I think, we are akin to each other and I trust you. Now I will induct you in my thinking and my plans.
The Elder Ones have not brought any good to our kin. These life stones changed almost anything. In former times, we lived and worked and didn't spend much time on thinking about tomorrow - not to say: we had no reason to worry - cause we lived after the ten Commandments and we knew that after life would end we would either be reborn or return to BeginningEnd. Then the Elder Ones came to Cocytos and said that they brought us the promised redemption from all suffering. They gave us the life-stones and although these stones seem to have no drawbacks by themselves they made us to face a way of life. First, people adapted to the new possibilities of an unended life. The stones changed our worldview. Death wasn't a natural part of life anymore and possibilities were not limited. That was our first impression.
But then we learned, that it is hard - very hard - to endure eternity. Few went mad, many turned out restless and became hedonistic and egoistic. And we learned, that the lifestones were limited. They didn't say, that they had not enough for all people but that they were limited. From that day on, people became obsessive about death. They became frightened and collected all life stones they could get. Mistrust and hatred on each other grew. Society was about breaking.
Not until then, death was something to be frighened of!
In these times, the Elder Ones - our new gods - recognized the need to rebuild society. They told us, that we do not have to be frightened if we do how they would tell us. Now our life is characterised by fear, competition and group thinking. The individual is only about functioning and wasting his "free" time.
Someone said, that history is cyclic. I almost agree. But the locus of life has become not only unsure but heretic.
As you know, we are a group of renegades. We were marked and have no hope to rejoin eternal life in this world. That means: we have nothing to loose. I'm going to turn their own weapon against them. I tell you more about the plan if you say, that you're in.

1 Now the whole earth had one language and the same words.
2 And as people migrated from the east, they found a plain in the land of Shinar and settled there.
3 And they said to one another, “Come, let us make bricks, and burn them thoroughly.” And they had brick for stone, and bitumen for mortar.
4 Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city and a tower with its top in the heavens, and let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be dispersed over the face of the whole earth.”
5 And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of man had built.
6 And the Lord said, “Behold, they are one people, and they have all one language, and this is only the beginning of what they will do. And nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them.
7 Come, let us go down and there confuse their language, so that they may not understand one another’s speech.”
8 So the Lord dispersed them from there over the face of all the earth, and they left off building the city.
9 Therefore its name was called Babel, because there the Lord confused1 the language of all the earth. And from there the Lord dispersed them over the face of all the earth.
