After the rest, Tavia leads you out through one of the tunnels that Szordrin has already visited. After about 4 miles, you by-pass the remains of a long dead displacer beast, its skeleton is nigh perfectly preserved. In another flat cavern, Tavia turns to the right and leads you through a narrow passage upwards again. It is another path the water has carved out of the stone and soon you have to climb virtually vertically upwards. It proves to be far easier than the descent though, as the space between the walls is more narrow and you get a far better footing. Finally, after about three hours, you climb up through what looks like a large sink of a cavern filled with water aeons ago. It his about half a mile wide, the opposite side is lit by luminous fungi and the like. Over there, you also hear the rush of water.
