Despite the aerial combat, Paval checks the ground levels of the tower ruins, spotting some sort of a trap door in a dark corner. Drawing it open, he sees that it is no more than a now earth-filled entrance to some lower level, atop of which some creeps have made their lair. Various furs and pelts cover the ground, bones and some rough bags lie about.
Over his head, Hreishar barely avoids a black-shafted arrow from Tathlyn, only to be hammered by a bolt of force from Zhadristan's ring. It sends her spinning about somewhat, but she keeps in the saddle of her flying stick well enough. Still viewing Sheiriya as the more potent threat, she levels a spell at the female, some purple magic ray that fails to harm Sheiriya. The latter responds with magic of her own, something that makes Hreishar cry out in annoyance. AN arc of lightning strikes Hreishar from Jhaevirr's outstretched hand, though she manages to avoid the full brunt of the attack by leaning back on her stick.
