Yep, the penalty wears off after the spells duration, i.e. 9 mins or somesuch. Same for Jhaevirr. Don't we all like a ray of enfeeblement here and there?

Just to let you all know that I will be mostly absent for the next two weeks. I'll be in San Francisco from Friday 2nd until Saturday 10th, then I will be mostly knackered. I will be on holiday from Monday 12th bis Friday 16th. I may get a chance to nip on-line.

I'm currently in a very busy period at work. I've travelled to the UK twice, Finland once and even Belgium! So if some of my recent posts have seemed a bit dopey, I apologise.

Bursting with anticipation the dwarf is, though one can hardly discern whether that interest is malignb or not. He sure is happy to see someone approach this place.

As for what it was ... only Zhadristan recognizes the magical defensive spell for what it was, something to keep out "evil outsiders". Hence it did not go off when Tathlyn stepped in.
