Sun Soul Mystic"Look within for the dawning light of the Morninglord, the twinkling diamonds of the Moonmaiden's raiment, and the shimmering corona of Lady Firehair's beauty."-- Kadila adh Vitendi
The Order of the Sun Soul is a monastic order that, during the time of Netheril, worshipped the god Amaunator as the Brotherhood of the Sun. When Netheril fell, the order survived, though their god seemed not to have. Individual monasteries began worshipping other gods. Most took the logical choice to begin worship of Lathander, others Selûne and a minority also began worship of Sune. Over time, they themselves forgot Amaunator but the order has always kept the same goal of serving the common folk of Faerûn.
Members of the Sun Soul Order believe that they each harbor a small fragment of the sun's divine essence, long absent from the Realms. Brothers and sisters of the Order of the Sun Soul are trained to tap into the "spiritual light" within -- a tradition that developed during Amaunator's slow decline -- and manifest it externally. The monks are affiliated with the faiths of Lathander, Selûne, and Sune, and they share many common concerns with those churches. Staunch opponents of darkness, evil, and chaos, the Sun Soul monks serve as crusaders against churches of evil deities, defenders of the common folk, and protectors of sites sacred to deities of light and good.
Whereas the abbot of the Sun Soul Order, Hanor Kichavo of the Monastery of the Sun in Waterdeep, beliefs that Amaunator had become a tri-partite deity like Angharradh of the Seldarine and Lathander, Selûne and Sune were his aspects, the more hidden cult of the Sun Soul Mystics disbelieves Amaunator's vision of perfect order and refuse to worship the fallen god. Nevertheless, although Sun Soul Mystics serve the churches of Lathaner, Selûne and Sune well, their support of three gods at once causes doctrinal differences with the clergy of those churches, especially within the church of Lathander and the Brotherhood of the Glorious Sun.
Because of this internal differences, Sun Soul Mystics eschew normal church hierarchies and instead embrace freedom and independence. They believe that to serve their deities they need to experience the world, learn about its hidden beauties and defend the darknes in all aspects. With their monastiv brothers and sisters, they share their dedication to serve the comman folk and eschewing ostentatious consumptions of wealth, food or libation.

The Sun Soul’s Class Skills (6+Int): Concentration, Craft, Diplomacy, Heal, Knowledge: Arcana, Knowledge: History, Knowledge: Natur, Knowledge: Planes, Knowledge: Religion, Perform, Profession, Sense Motiv, Spellcraft.
Class AbilitiesHeretic of the Faith: As the feat. A Sun Soul Mystic worships Lathander, Selûne and Sune equally. She is forbidden to worship Amaunator or have any levels in the Sunmaster prestige class. Furthermore she is not allowed to have levels in the morninglord, silverstar or heartwarden presige classes. Believers in the Trinity of light have access to the Glory, Good, Sun, Moon and Mysticism Domain. They use the quarterstaff as a favored weapon. Their weapon of the deity is a +1 everbright quarterstaff. Cleric believers in this heresy must be neutral good.
Radiant Aura (Su): A Sun Soul Mystic can emanate an aura of brilliant light that weakens undead creatures. The aura provides bright illumination in a 30-food radius around the character, and shadowy illumination for an additional 30 feet beyond that. Creatures that take penalties in bright light also take them while within the radius of the bright aura. In addition, undead creatures within the radius of the bright light take a -2 penalty to attacks, damage, and saves. Activating the radiant aura is a swift action that does not provoke an attack of opportunity. While her radiant aura is active, the Sun Soul Mystic casts spells with the light descriptor at +2 caster level. The Sun Soul can use this ability once per day at 1st level, twice per day at 5rd level, and three times per day at 10th level. Each use lasts 1 minute. The radiant aura is based on the Sun Soul Mystic's caster level for purposes of interacting with spells and effects with the darkness descriptor.
Sun Soul: Sun Soul Mystic levels stack with levels from any other class that grants the ability to turn undead for the purposes of turning undead.
Disciple of the Sun: As the feat of the same name.
Lay on Hands (Su): Beginning at 2nd level, a Sun Soul Mystic with a Charisma score of 12 or higher can heal wounds (her own or those of others) by touch. Each day she can heal a total number of hit points of damage equal to her character level × her Charisma bonus. A Sun Soul Mystic may choose to divide her healing among multiple recipients, and she doesn’t have to use it all at once. Using lay on hands is a standard action.
Alternatively, a Sun Soul Mystic can use any or all of this healing power to deal damage to undead creatures. Using lay on hands in this way requires a successful melee touch attack and doesn’t provoke an attack of opportunity. The Sun Soul Mystic decides how many of her daily allotment of points to use as damage after successfully touching an undead creature.
Aura of everlasting Hope (Su): Beginning at 3rd level, a Sun Soul Mystic is immune to fear (magical or otherwise). Each ally within 10 feet of her gains a +4 morale bonus on saving throws against fear effects.
Divine Health (Ex): At 4th level, a Sun Soul Mystic gains immunity to all diseases, including supernatural and magical diseases.
Tongue of the Sun and Moon (Ex): A Sun Soul Mystic of 6th level or higher can speak with any living creature.
Bonus Domain: At 7th level, a Sun Soul Mystic may choose either the Sun or the Moon Domain.
Perfect Body (Su): At 8th level, a Sun Soul Mystic gains immunity to poisons of all kinds.
Timeless Body (Ex): Upon attaining 9th level, a Sun Soul Mystic no longer takes penalties to her ability scores for aging and cannot be magically aged. Any such penalties that she has already taken, however, remain in place. Bonuses still accrue, and the Sun Soul Mystic still dies of old age when her time is up.
Transcendence (Su): At 10th level, the Sun Soul Mystic sheds her mortal form and becomes an outsider with the native subtype. This apotheosis grants her immunity to any spell or effect that does not affect outsiders (for example, charm person cannot affect her) as well as darkvision out to 60 feet, if she does not already have it. Despite of her native outsider subtype, a Sun Soul Mystic does not breath and do not need to eat or sleep (although she can do so if they wish), and she can be reincarnated, raised, or resurrected normally. She also gains any alignment subtypes that match alignment components she has in common with her deity.
