Hinweise zur Charaktererstellung

1. Regelsystem

Neue Talente

Extra Counterspell [Divine]

Prerequisite
Ability to use Divine Counterspell (CM)
Benefit
Each time you take this feat, you can use your ability to counterspell four more times per day than normal. From now on, you can also expend your available uses of Divine Counterspell to fuel divine feats that require turning or rebuking abilities.
Normal
Without this feat, a character can typically use Divine Counterspell a number of times per day equal to 1 + his Charisma modifier. He can not use Divine Counterspell to fuel divine feats.
Special
You can gain Extra Counterspell multiple times. Its effects stack. Each time you take the feat, you can use your counterspell ability four additional times per day.

Improved Shield Fighting [General, Fighter]

Prerequisite
Improved Shield Bash
Benefit
Your penalties on attack rolls for fighting with a weapon and a shield are reduced. The penalty for your primary hand lessens by 2 and the one for your off hand lessens by 6.
Normal
If you wield a shield in your off hand, you can get one extra attack per round with that weapon. When fighting in this way you suffer a –6 penalty with your regular attack or attacks with your primary hand and a –10 penalty to the attack with your off hand. If your shield counts as light weapon the penalties are reduced by 2 each.
Special
This feat does not stack with the Two-Weapon-Fighting feat.

Ranged Power Attack [General, Fighter]

Prerequisite
Dex 15, Point Blank Shot
Benefit
While wielding a bow or a crossbow, you may subtract a number from all ranged attack rolls and add the same number to all ranged damage rolls before making attack rolls for a round. This number may not exceed your base attack bonus. The penalty on attacks and bonus on damage applies until your next turn.
Normal
Without this feat, you cannot use Power Attack with ranged weapons.

Savage Armor Mastery [General, Fighter]

Orc or half orc, proficiency with medium armor, rage or favoured enemy class feature
Benefit
When wearing hide armor, the armor bonus granted to your Armor Class is increased by +2.

Klassenänderungen

Barbar
Ein Elf-Barbar erhält statt "Rage" das UA-Feature
"Ferocity" (Anzeigen)

Barden

Ability Focus (Hexblade's Curse), Extra Curse (zwei zusätzliche Anwendungen pro Tag)
Auf Stufe 2 erhalten Hexenklingen folgende Fähigkeit:
Arcane Defense (Su): A hexblade adds 1 point of Charisma bonus (if any) per hexblade class level to his Armor Class as long as he wears no armor or light armor, is unencumbered and does not wear a shield. This bonus to AC applies even against touch attacks or when the hexblade is flat-footed.Auf Stufe 6 erhalten Hexenklingen folgende Fähigkeit:
Eviscarate (Ex): When you kill an enemy with a melee weapon, you can make an Intimidate check as a swift action against an opponent within 30ft. who witnesses your savage act.
Hexenmeister

Weitere Klassen

Waldelf-Paragon

Table: The Wood Elf Paragon               Hit Die: d8
Waldelf Paragon
StufeGABZähigkeitReflexWilleSpeziell
1.1220Elfsight, Resist Enchantments
2.2330Weapon Focus

Class skills; Climb (Str), Craft (Int), Hide (Dex), Jump (Str), Knowledge (all skills, taken individually) (Int), Listen (Wis), Move Silently (Dex), Profession (Wis), Spellcraft (Int), Spot (Wis), Survival (Wis), and Swim (Str).

Class Features:
All of the following are class features of the wood elf paragon.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Wood elf paragons are proficient with all simple weapons, rapiers, longswords, shortbows, and longbows. Elf paragons are proficient with light and medium armor, but not with shields.
Elfsight (Ex): A wood elf paragon has exceptional visual acuity. Her racial bonus on Search and Spot checks increases to +4. In addition, a wood elf paragon's low-light vision increases in range, allowing her to see three times as far as a human in starlight, moonlight, torchlight, and similar conditions of poor illumination.
Resist Enchantments (Ex): A wood elf paragon's racial bonus on saves against enchantment spells or effects increases by 2.
Weapon Focus (Ex): At 2nd level, an elf paragon paragon gains Weapon Focus as a bonus feat. This feat must apply to either the rapier, longsword, shortsword, shortbow, longbow, composite shortbow, composite longbow or an exotic elven weapon (in this case, the wood elf paragon must be proficient with the weapon).
Ability Boost (Ex): At 3rd level, an wood elf paragon's Constitution or Dexterity score increases by 2 points (her choice).

Class Skills: Concentration (Con), Craft (alchemy) (Int), Decipher Script (Int), Diplomacy (Cha), Forgery (Int),  Knowledge (all skills, taken individually) (Int), Profession (Wis), Spellcraft (Int).

Class Features
All of the following are class features of the rune caster.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Rune casters are proficient with all simple weapons, all types of armor and with shields (except tower shields).
Spells: A rune caster casts spells with out any somatic components and therefore does not suffer from arcane failure while armored.
A rune caster casts arcane spells which are drawn from the rune caster spell list. She must choose and prepare her spells ahead of time. She readies spells in the form of runes (see below). To prepare or cast a spell, the rune caster must have an Intelligence score equal to at least 10 + the spell level. The Difficulty Class for a saving throw against a rune casters’s spell is 10 + the spell level + the rune caster’s Intelligence modifier. Like other spellcasters, a rune caster can cast only a certain number of spells of each spell level per day. Her base daily spell allotment is given on Table: The Rune Caster. In addition, she receives bonus spells per day if she has a high Intelligence score. A rune caster learns to prepare her arcane spells as runes inscribed on solid objects (usually small tablets of stone, but other objects like shields or even armors are possible). She must choose and prepare her spells ahead of time by getting a good night’s sleep and spending 1 hour to carve the runes. A rune caster can leave spell slots unprepared to scribe runes at a later time.
All spells automatically have a material component (the rune itself). By casting the spell, the rune is erased from the tablet. A rune caster cannot get around the runic material component by means of an ability or feat such as Eschew Materials, although she can use such feats and abilities to waive any other material components.
Scribe Scroll: At 1st level, a rune caster gains Scribe Scroll as a bonus feat. However, instead of scrolls she has to use small tablets of stone or other solid objects as an alternate medium.
Rune of Elemental Protection (Sp): Once per day, a rune caster can cast endure elements as a spell like ability. She must casts this spell on herself.
Skill Focus: At 3rd level, a rune caster gains Skill Focus (Decipher Script) as a bonus feat.
Rune of Physical Protection (Sp): Once per day, a rune caster can cast protection from arrows as a spell like ability. She must casts this spell on herself. The spell lasts for 24 hours or until discharged.
Share Runes (Ex): A rune caster can prepare a limited number of rune-form arcane spells such that they can be activated (cast) by any character. The spell’s casting time remains the same, and it is just as effective as a spell cast by the rune caster himself. The spell’s level is increased by two as if a metamagic feat had been applied to it. Each time this ability is used to prepare a sharable rune, that rune takes up one of the rune casters’s available spell slots for that day. A rune caster can prepare a maximum number of shareable runes each day equal to his Wisdom modifier (minimum 1).
Shielded Casting: At 5th level, a rune caster gains Shielded Casting (RoS) as a bonus feat.
Rune of Mystical Protection (Sp): Once per day, a rune caster can cast nondetection as a spell like ability. She must casts this spell on herself. The spell lasts for 24 hours.
Extended Rune Magic (Su): The duration of abjuration spells cast by a rune caster is doubled, as if she had applied the Extend Spell feat to them. However, this does not result in any change in level or casting time. Extended Rune Magic does not apply to the rune caster's spell like abilities.
Permanent Rune (Sp): At 8th level, a rune caster can inscribe his body and certain objects with permanent runes. This ability functions basically like the permanency spell. Therefore, the rune caster must expend a number of XP as mentioned in the spell's description and also meet the requirement of a minimum caster level. However, for the purpose of creating permanent runes her effective caster level is treated 5 level higher than normal. Permanent Runes cannot be erased by the erase spell. They can be dispelled as in the spell's description, but are merely suppressed for 24 hours if the dispel check result does not exceed the dispel DC by at least 5.

Class Features
All of the following are class features of the Battle smith.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Battle smiths are proficient with all simple and martial weapons, with all types of armor (heavy, medium, and light), and with shields (except tower shields).
Hammer of the Forge (Ex): At 1st level a battle smith receives a Weapon Focus for a hammer of his choice.
Secret of Steel (Ex): A battle smith gains a bonus on Craft (armorsmithing) and Craft (weaponsmithing) equal to his battle smith class level.
Armor Adjustment (Ex): As long as a battle smith carries an armor or shield that he has crafted himself, this armor's or shield's (if it has one) maximum Dexterity bonus is increased by 1 and its armor check penalty is lessened by 1.
Endurance: At 3rd level, a battle smith gains Endurance as a bonus feat.
Second Skin (Medium) (Ex): At 3rd level, a battle smith ignores the standard speed reduction for wearing medium armor.  Starting at 7th level, he also ignores the speed reduction for wearing heavy armor.
Hammer Adaption (Ex): At 4th level, a battle smith receives Weapon Specialisation for the hammer he has chosen at 1st level.
Forge Mastery (Ex): A battle smith receives Craft Magic Arms and Armor as a bonus feat even if he does not meet the prequisites. Multiply the battle smith’s class level by 2 to determine his effective caster level for the purpose of creating magic arms and armor (this benefit stacks with any other caster levels the battle smith might have). The battle smith must still meet any other prerequisites for the item’s creation. This stipulation might mean that he needs the assistance of other characters to complete the creation of an item, especially a spellcaster.
Bonus Feat: At 6th level a battle smith gains a fighter bonus feat. He must meet all prerequisites for a bonus feat, including ability score and base attack bonus minimums.
Hardened Armor (Ex): As long as a battle smith carries an armor that he has crafted himself, this armor's damage reduction (if any) is increased by 2.
Hammerstrike (Ex): If a battle smith hits the same creature with a hammer twice in the same round, it must make a Fortitude saving throw (DC 10 + 1/2 battle smith's class level + battle smith's Str modifier) or fall prone.
True Artisan (Su): A battle smith can create magic armors, shields and weapons without knowing the required spells. He can substitute a Spellcraft Check (DC 20 + spell level) in place of a required spell. Replacing a spell in this way takes 1 hour plus the spell's casting time. The battle smith cannot take 20 on this check and taking 10 increases the needed time to 8 hours plus the spell's casting time. If the battle smith succeeds, he can create the item as if he had cast the spell. If he fails, he cannot complete the item, but does not expend the XP or gp costs for making the item. In this case, he cannot retry his Spellcraft Check for that spell within one month.

Class Skills: Concentration (Con), Craft (alchemy) (Int), Disguise (Cha), Heal (Wis), Hide (Dex), Intimidate (Cha), Knowledge (arcana) (Int), Knowledge (religion) (Int), Profession (Wis), Spellcraft (Int).

Class Features
All of the following are class features of the bloodmage.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Bloodmages are proficient with all simple weapons and light armor, but not with shields.
Spells: A bloodmage casts arcane spells which are drawn from the bloodmage spell list. He can cast any spell he knows without preparing it ahead of time, the way a wizard or a cleric must (see below). He does not suffer from arcane spell failure while in light armor, though he suffers normally from all other kinds of armor and shields.
To learn or cast a spell, a bloodmage must have a Charisma score equal to at least 10 + the spell level. The Difficulty Class for a saving throw against a bloodmage’s spell is 10 + the spell level + the bloodmage’s Charisma modifier.
Like other spellcasters, a bloodmage can cast only a certain number of spells of each spell level per day. His base daily spell allotment is given on Table: The Bloodmage. In addition, he receives bonus spells per day if he has a high Charisma score. A bloodmage’s selection of spells is extremely limited.
A bloodmage needs not prepare his spells in advance. He can cast any spell he knows at any time, assuming he has not yet used up his spells per day for that spell level. He does not have to decide ahead of time which spells he’ll cast.
Blood Components (Ex): A bloodmage gains the Eschew Materials feat as a bonus feat.
Hardy (Ex): A bloodmage automatically becomes stable when his hitpoints drop below 0. He still dies when he reaches -10 hp or lower.
Blood Casting (Su): A bloodmage can choose to enhance his spells with a drop of his  blood. Whenever a bloodmage casts a spell, he can voluntarily take 1 point of damage per spell level (minimum 1) to boost the caster level of this spell by 1. Using this option is a free action that becomes part of casting the spell. The damage cannot be negated by any means (e.g. damage reduction or temporary hit points), though it can be healed normally.
Unnatural Health (Ex): At 3rd level, a bloodmage gains immunity to all diseases, including supernatural and magical diseases.
Blood Reservoir (Su): A bloodmage effectively gains the benefits of the Brew Potion feat, using his own blood as an medium instead of a vial. The feats works as normal, with the following exceptions:
A bloodmage does not need to know the spell he wants to store into his body. However, he can only create potions from spells mentioned in his spell list or the PHB.
A bloodmage can only store a number of spells up to his bloodmage level in his body at the same time. He cannot store his blood in a container to use it at a later time.
Using a stored spell is a standard action that provokes attacks of opportunity.
Sanguine Connection (Su): At 5th level, a bloodmage can use touch spells on living targets up to 30 feet away. If the spell requires a melee touch attack, the bloodmage must make a ranged touch attack instead. This ability only functions if the target has blood or a similar substance within its body. Therefore, it does not work on constructs, elementals, oozes, plants or undead.
Greater Blood Casting (Su): At 6th level, a blood mage can further strengthen his magic with his life force. Whenever he uses his Blood Casting ability to cast a spell, he can voluntarily take 1 additional point of damage per spell level (minimum 1) to increase the spell's DC by 1. This bonus stacks with Spell Focus and Greater Spell Focus. As an additional benefit, the casting time of the spell does not increase if the bloodmage combines Greater Blood Casting with the usage of metamagic feats.
Life Leech (Su): When a bloodmage slays a living enemy of at least small size with a melee touch spell or by using Sanguine Connection, the spell slot is not used up. This ability requires no other action than casting the spell, but only functions if the killed enemy has blood or a similar substance within his body. Therefore, it does not work on constructs, elementals, oozes, plants or undead. A bloodmage can use this ability once per day.
Evolution (Ex): A bloodmage's body toughens, granting him a permanent +2 bonus to Constitution.

Class Features
All of the following are class features of the Assassin.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Assassins are proficient with all simple weapons, the kukri, the longsword, the shortsword, the hand crossbow and shortbow. Assassins are proficient with light armor, but not with shields.
Sneak Attack (Ex): If an assassin can catch an opponent when he is unable to defend himself effectively from her attack, she can strike a vital spot for extra damage. The assassin’s attack deals extra damage any time her target would be denied a Dexterity bonus to AC (whether the target actually has a Dexterity bonus or not), or when the assassin flanks her target. This extra damage is 1d6 at 1st level, and it increases by 1d6 every two assassin levels thereafter. Should the assassin score a critical hit with a sneak attack, this extra damage is not multiplied. Ranged attacks can count as sneak attacks only if the target is within 30 feet. With a sap (blackjack) or an unarmed strike, an assassin can make a sneak attack that deals nonlethal damage instead of lethal damage. She cannot use a weapon that deals lethal damage to deal nonlethal damage in a sneak attack, not even with the usual -4 penalty. An assassin can sneak attack only living creatures with discernible anatomies—undead, constructs, oozes, plants, and incorporeal creatures lack vital areas to attack. Any creature that is immune to critical hits is not vulnerable to sneak attacks until the assassin reaches 8th level and gains penetrating strike ability. The assassin must be able to see the target well enough to pick out a vital spot and must be able to reach such a spot. An assassin cannot sneak attack while striking a creature with concealment or striking the limbs of a creature whose vitals are beyond reach.
Death Attack (Ex): If an assassin studies her victim for 3 rounds and then makes a sneak attack with a melee weapon that successfully deals damage, the sneak attack has the additional effect of possibly paralyzing the target. While studying the victim, the assassin can undertake other actions so long as her attention stays focused on the target and the target does not detect the assassin or recognize the assassin as an enemy. If the victim of such an attack fails a Fortitude save (DC 10 + half the assassin’s class level + the assassin’s Int modifier) against the paralysis effect, the victim is rendered helpless and unable to act for 1d6 rounds plus 1 round per level of the assassin. If the victim’s saving throw succeeds, the attack is just a normal sneak attack. A assassin of a least 6th level can choose to kill the target instead of just paralysing it. If the victim fails her save against the kill effect, she dies. Once the assassin has completed the 3 rounds of study, he must make the death attack within the next 3 rounds. If a death attack is attempted and fails (the victim makes her save) or if the assassin does not launch the attack within 3 rounds of completing the study, 3 new rounds of study are required before she can attempt another death attack.
Poison Use (Ex): At 2nd level, assassins are trained in the use of poison and never risk accidentally poisoning themselves when applying poison to a blade.
Uncanny Dodge (Ex): At 2nd level, an assassin retains her Dexterity bonus to AC (if any) even if she is caught flat-footed or struck by an invisible attacker. However, she still loses his Dexterity bonus to AC if immobilized. If an assassin already has Uncanny Dodge from a different class, she automatically gains Improved Uncanny Dodge instead.
Master Acrobat (Ex): At 4th level an assassin gains a +2 competence bonus on Balance, Climb, Jump and Tumble checks.
Poison Expert: At 6th level an assassin gains Poison Expert (CS) as a bonus feat.
Penetrating Strike (Ex): By 8th level an assassin has become so skilled in the art of backstabbing that she is capable of harming even creatures normally invulnerable to her sneak attack. Penetrating Strike allows an asssassin to sneak attack types of creatures normally immune to critical hits with one half her normal sneak attack damage dice.

Class Features
All of the following are class features of the skald.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: A skald is proficient with all simple and martial weapons. Skalds are proficient with light armor, medium armor and light shields.
Bardic Knowledge: A skald may make a special Bardic Knowledge check with a bonus equal to his skald level + his Intelligence modifier to see whether he knows some relevant information about local notable people, legendary items, or noteworthy places. (If the skald has 5 or more ranks in Knowledge (History), he gains a +2 bonus on this check).
A successful Bardic Knowledge check will not reveal the powers of a magic item but may give a hint as to its general function. A skald may not take 10 or take 20 on this check; this sort of knowledge is essentially random.
DCType of Knowlegde
10Common, known by at least a substantial minority of the local population
20Uncommon but available, known by only a few people legends.
25Obscure, known by few, hard to come by.
30Extremely obscure, known by very few, possibly forgotten by most who once knew it, possibly known only by those who don’t understand the significance of the knowledge.
Bardic Music: Once per day per skald level, a skald can use his song or poetics to produce magical effects on those around him (usually including himself, if desired). While these abilities fall under the category of Bardic Music and the descriptions discuss singing or playing instruments, they can all be activated by reciting poetry, chanting, singing lyrical songs, singing melodies, whistling, playing an instrument, or playing an instrument in combination with some spoken performance. Each ability requires both a minimum skald level and a minimum number of ranks in the Perform skill to qualify; if a skald does not have the required number of ranks in at least one Perform skill, he does not gain the Bardic Music ability until he acquires the needed ranks.
Starting a Bardic Music effect is a standard action. Some Bardic Music abilities require concentration, which means the skald must take a standard action each round to maintain the ability. Even while using Bardic Music that doesn’t require concentration, a skald cannot cast spells, activate magic items by spell completion (such as scrolls), spell trigger (such as wands), or command word. Just as for casting a spell with a verbal component, a deaf skald has a 20% chance to fail when attempting to use Bardic Music. If he fails, the attempt still counts against his daily limit.
Inspire Courage (Su): A skald with 3 or more ranks in a Perform skill can use song or poetics to Inspire Courage in his allies (including himself), bolstering them against fear and improving their combat abilities. To be affected, an ally must be able to hear the skald sing. The effect lasts for as long as the ally hears the skald sing and for 5 rounds thereafter. An affected ally receives a +1 morale bonus on saving throws against charm and fear effects and a +1 morale bonus on attack and weapon damage rolls. At 7th level this bonus increases by 1. Inspire Courage is a mind-affecting ability.
Streetsmart (Ex): Beginning at 2nd level, a skald gains a competence bonus on Bluff and Gather Infomation equal to one half his skald level.
Weapon Focus: At 2nd level, a skald gains Weapon Focus as a bonus feat.
Versatile (Ex): At 3rd level, a skald may select any two non‐class skills. These are now considered class skills for him.
Obtain Familiar: At 4th level, the skald gains Obtain Familiar as a bonus feat.
Inspire Toughness (Su): A skald of 5th level with 8 or more ranks in Perform (sing) or Perform (oratory) can use their song or poetics to impart a kind of berserk resiliency on their allies (including themselves). To be affected, an ally must be able to hear the skald sing (or speak). The effect lasts for as long as the ally hears the skald sing and for 5 rounds thereafter. An affected ally receives +1 temporary hit point for every class level of the skald.
Combine Songs (Su): A skald of 6th level or higher with 9 or more ranks in any Perform skill can combine two types of bardic music to provide the benefits of both (normal stacking rules for bonus types apply).
Inspire Greatness (Su): A skald of 8th level with 11 or more ranks in a Perform skill can use music or poetics to inspire greatness in himself or a single willing ally within 30 feet, granting him or her extra fighting capability. To Inspire Greatness, a skald must sing and an ally must hear him sing. The effect lasts for as long as the ally hears the skald sing and for 5 rounds thereafter. A creature inspired with greatness gains 2 bonus Hit Dice (d10s), the commensurate number of temporary hit points (apply the target’s Constitution modifier, if any, to these bonus Hit Dice), a +2 competence bonus on attack rolls, and a +1 competence bonus on Fortitude saves. The bonus Hit Dice count as regular Hit Dice for determining the effect of spells that are Hit Dice dependant. Inspire Greatness is a mind-affecting ability.

Craft (Int), Diplomacy (Cha), Handle Animal (Cha), Intimidate (Cha), Jump (Str), Knowledge (history) (Int), Knowledge (nobilty and royalty) (Int), Profession (Wis), Ride (Dex), Sense Motive (Wis), Swim (Str).

Class Features
All of the following are class features of the knight.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: The knight is proficient with all simple weapons and all martial melee weapons, all types of armor and with shields (including tower shields).
Courtly Knowledge (Ex): A knight adds his class level to his knowledge (history) and knowledge (nobility and royalty) checks as a competence bonus.
Mark (Ex): At the start of an encounter, the knight may select a creature with a CR equal or higher than his character level to gain a +2 bonus on Intimidate, Listen, Sense Motive and Spot checks when using these skills against such creature. Likewise, he gets a +2 bonus on weapon damage rolls against his mark. This ability functions like the ranger's favoured enemy class feature. Thus, a knight can gain the benefit of the hunting weapon enchantment against his mark or select feats which require a favoured enemy.
A knight has to approach his mark as soon as available. However, he is not required to take suicidal or obviously harmful paths to his mark. Once a knight is engaged in a melee combat with his mark, he may not retreat voluntarily. If he does, he suffers a -2 malus on attack rolls, initiative checks, saves, skill checks and weapon damage rolls until he or his allies successfully defeat a new mark.
If the knight or his allies kill the knight's mark he can select another mark, as long as there are enemies available with a CR equal or higher than the knight's character level.
Damage Reduction (Ex): At 2nd level, a knight gains Damage Reduction. Subtract 1 from the damage the knight takes each time he is dealt damage from a weapon or a natural attack. At 5th and 8th level this Damage Reduction rises by 1 point. Damage Reduction can reduce damage to 0 but not below 0. It stacks with untyped damage reduction from other sources such as adamantine armor.
Goad: At 2nd level, a knight gains Goad as a bonus feat. If the knight has placed his mark on the oppenent he goads, the DC of the will saving throw to resist the goad increases by the knight's mark bonus.
Sentinel (Ex): Any enemy attempting to tumble through a square threatened by a knight adds the knight's level to the DC of the tumble check.
Bonus Feat: At 4th level, the knight may select a bonus feat from the following list: Active Shield Defence, Agile Shield Fighter, Diehard, Endurance, Great Fortitude, Improved Shield Bash, Indomitable Soul, Iron Will, Mounted Combat, Ride-By Attack, Shield Specialisation, Shield Ward, Spirited Charge, Steadfast Determination, Trample, Weapon Focus.
He must meet the prerequisites for the feat. At 7th level, he may select a second bonus feat from the list.
Improved Mark (Ex): At 5th level, the boni granted by the Mark ability increase from +2 to +4.
Bastion of Defense (Ex): All squares that are threatened by a knight are considered to be difficult terrain.
Mettle (Ex): Starting at 8th level, whenever the knight succeeds on a saving throw with a Fortitude Partial or Will Half (or vice versa) effect, he instead takes no effect.
