Well, I don't think she is, neither is Sheiriya ... even though darkness has a 20 foot radius ... i.e. 40 feet in diameter. Light as well ... maybe I should House Rule that too, bringing it back to the older format.  8)

Ah okay then we'll just strike that last action then, and she'll just keep an eye out for additional hostiles from outside the darkness then.

Maybe it is time for a more detailed House Rule thread. (Suggestions welcome.)

Zanan, I just wanted to make sure you know that Szordrin's activated his ring of the darkhidden so he shouldn't be visible to anyone with darkvision once the darkness dissapates. Also, in the darkness I believe he should be getting SA bonus on damage.

Was about to write the next round's action when one of these pesty real life assignments of the "do it by yesterday please" happened by. So here we go then.

Situation after Round III:

The chain and the undead battle it out in the corridor, while Farviaan faces a more meaty undead on the dais. Kylara steps out from below the dais looking on, while Khalas is nowhere to be seen.

On the bridge, Zhadristan and Szodrin remain in the darkness, but (though they don't know it) have no opponent to deal with. The remaining derro flees over the bridge towards the platform (and Kylara), pursued by Tavia. Gaess looks on from above, while Sheiriya is also nowhere to be seen.

Does the underside of the bridge appear to be out of the darkness, or is it encompassed by it also?

Well, these days, as you can channel light like a lantern and ... *gets a whack with "DM's club of sense"* ... yes. A decently sized blob of darkness shrouds the bridge. Let's bring the diameter down to 20 feet though.

Essentially, Tavia got over the railing and spider climbed to the other side of the globe of darkness ... not wanting to stumble into blades, picks and the like in the darkness on the bridge.

FYI, Szordrin shouldn't suffer from a silent movement penalty while running because of his swift and silent feat Zanan. Plus, he's invisible! Sort of..

BTW, I only recently noted that the Swift & Silent feat is a regional one not available to Underdark drow. Which is kind of surprising since UD drow are as much (if not more) inclined to be swift and silent in the Realms Below.

So I House Rule that UD drow can take the feat as well. (Hurry while I am House Rule happy folks ...   )

Farviaan doesn't use Power Attack this time, but channels two of his Power Points into his blade for an additional 2d6 points of damage.
