Panyarachun is a quite typical member of the Pandaren race. He is about 5-1/2 ft. large with a black and white fur. His cloth and hat reflect the pandaren style. He prefers to leave his hands free, so he can make use of his quadrupedal movement. In interaction with other races he is open and friendly. In general he seems to be happy most of the time. When he has time to do this, he is on the look out for new things to put in his breweries. Though his knowledge of nature is marginal, he usually succeeds in not poisoning himself.
COMBATPanyarachun is an effective yet unwilling combattant. He rarely goes into combat unprepared or uninformed. Analyzing the situation, Panyarachun uses ranged weapons to attack foes early. If given the time, Panyarachun will cast Mage Armor and if he enters close combat he will cast Enlarge Person on himself. If faced with minor Undead, he will try to use his Disrupt Undead Spell.
Alertness: The presence of Jao sharpens Panyarachuns senses. While he is within arm's reach, his master gains the Alertness feat. This grants him a +2 bonus on all Listen checks and Spot checks. These boni are not reflected in the statistics block above.
Empathic Link (SU): Panyarachun has an empathic link with Jao out to a distance of up to 1 mile. He cannot see through the raven’s eyes, but they can communicate empathically. Because of the limited nature of the link, only general emotional content can be communicated.
Familiar: Panyarachuns Familiar is a raven called Jao who can speak Common. They are seldom seen without each other.See Jao's Description for details.
Low-Light Vision: Panyarachun can see twice as far as a human in starlight, moonlight, torchlight and similar conditions of poor illumination. He retains the ability to distinguish color and detail under these conditions.
Multiattack: Panyarachun's secondary attacks with natural weapons (in this case: bite) take only a –2 penalty.
Quadrupedal Movement: Panyaruchun is a bipedal creature, but his pseuo-ursine form allows him to move at tremendous speed on four limbs. When Panyarachun drops down to all fours, his speed increases by +10 feet. Panyarachun must have nothing in his hands to use this ability.
Skills: Panyarachun has a +8 racial bonus on Climb checks and can always take 10 on a Climb Check, even in combat or if he is otherwise distracted. Panyarachun retains his Dexterity Bonus to AC while climbing, and opponents get no special bonus to attack him while climbing. Climb is a class skill for Panyarachun.
His Raven Familiar Jao grants Panyarachun a +3 bonus on appraise when they are within 1 mile of each other.

Spells: Panyarachun casts spells as a 1st-level sorcerer. The Difficulty Class for a saving throw against his spells is 11 for 0-level spells or 12 for 1st-level spells.

Jao is a glossy black bird about 2 ft long and has a wingspan of about 4ft. He combines both claws into a single attack. His staring eyes seem quite intelligent, for a bird at least. Occassionally you can hear him talk to Panyarachun in Common.
COMBATJao rarely fights at all, but is near his master when in combat. He might be affected by spells aimed at Panyarachun.

Hit Points:: Jao has one-half Panyarachun’s total hit points (15) (not including temporary hit points), rounded down (7), regardless of its actual Hit Dice.
Improved Evasion (EX): When subjected to an attack that normally allows a Reflex saving throw for half damage, Jao takes no damage if he makes a successful saving throw and half damage even if the saving throw fails.

Share Spells: At Panyarachun’s option, he may have any spell (but not any spell-like ability) he casts on himself also affect Jao. The raven must be within 5 feet at the time of casting to receive the benefit. If the spell or effect has a duration other than instantaneous, it stops affecting Jao if it moves farther than 5 feet away and will not affect the familiar again even if it returns to the master before the duration expires. Additionally, Panyarachun may cast a spell with a target of “You” on Jao (as a touch range spell) instead of on himself. Panyarachun and his raven can share spells even if the spells normally do not affect creatures of Jao’s type (magical beast).
Skills: For each skill in which either the master or the familiar has ranks, use either the normal skill ranks for an animal of that type or the master’s skill ranks, whichever are better. In either case, the familiar uses its own ability modifiers. Regardless of a familiar’s total skill modifiers, some skills may remain beyond the familiar’s ability to use.
